Week 7 @ SV

 Our second last week. In this week I conducted Diagnostic Test at 9A, on 2nd of August. 

On 3rd, I resumed my portion at 9A- 'Vein, Artery & Capillaries', and 'Working of Heart' were the topics. I used ICT integrated learning strategy for the topic here





I was not able to get a class at 8th. 
Then I planned to conduct a test for the 8th standard on next week and informed the class during the break.

 Our first ever teaching internship had begun today. What we learned for over this one year is going get into its practical form and we are all excited as well as a little tensed. The school I was scheduled into was GHSS for girls Peroorkada. A total of 13 students from all the 6 optionals were selected to do the teaching practice here. We arrived at the school at 9am. There was an open assembly at the school today at 9.15am. We attended the assembly as well. Today's assembly were hosted by the students from 6B. It included prayer, news, thought for the day, new year song and Principal's message. The whole assemble was systematic and time bound.  After that some of us went to their respective classes in their respective hours after marking our attendance. I didn't had my class hour today. 23rd Dec 2021: It's Christmas @MTTC!!

 It was the first Christmas for us new MTTCians and it was worth remembering for! The students were all busy as the bees, preparing the things for the day, completing several tasks for the competition arranged by some associations, practicing for the carol songs and dance, buying Christmas hats and taking tons of photos and all. After a little wait the program started at 11 and we all assembled at the auditorium and when the guests arrived we welcomed them with a warm round of applause. The event started with a prayer and then the venue was able to receive a good Christmas message from our chief guest Rev. Fr. Jolly Karimpal. Then Father lead the ceremony to cut the Christmas cake with our Principal Benedict sir and Fr. Thomas Kayyalakkal.  After that we sang our Christmas carol song together. 'Talk-active' Tuesday

 We had our second group discussion today! And again it was initiated by Joju sir; the topic we discussed about was 'Cyber crimes and ways to prevent them.' The topic have soo much importance in today's world which is more or less rotating around the internet. The cyber crimes are rising with the development of usage of internet; in a way that one can't even trust a genuine source or to differentiate between a fraud source with a trusted one. We had a really good time exploring about one of the most poisonous weapon in the world. We discussed thoroughly about the topic, stacked up all the possible information we can produce and noted it down to make it a small report for the presentation in the next class.  Then Maya ma'am took the class and taught about the qualities and competencies of a teacher.
