L'espoir Day 4

 Different from the rest of the camp days day 4 was special because it was our 'trip day.' We got to have a one day trip together. The places were Zoo and Historical museum TVM and marine aquarium, Vizhinjam and Kovalam. We set off at 9.30am after having the breakfast. First we went to the Natural Historical museum where we saw wonders of life and its evolution and the different forms of life which we've never seen until now and their interesting informations. We explored the place to our full extent. Then we went to the Zoo where we met different animals and other life forms. We took lots of photos and created lot of memories. After that we went back to college to have our lunch. After the lunch  we set forth to Vizhinjam marine aquarium. There we saw the wonders of marine life where we spent some time. Before we set off from we never forgot to take a peek at Vizhinjam port. Then we departed to Kovalam where we witnessed the sea with the beautiful sunset. It was mesmerizin

 Getting into the third day of the camp, which was the busiest day of the camp. The day was assigned to group 3 Insaniyat , which I belonged to. As the last day we woke at almost 5.45am and after freshening up we had a cup of black tea, our morning energizer ;) Since it's our group's duty day, we the Insaniyat members got ready at 7.30am and walked to our college to set the breakfast as well as the registration procedures. We divided ourselves into several groups and divided the tasks. When one group went to wash the dishes another group went to arrange stage and other group helped the people in cooking and the other group started the registration procedures.  When the clock striked 8.30am almost most of the students came to the college, after signing the register they went to have their breakfast.  After spending the night at Giri deepam most of us had woken up before 6.30am. We were provided with hot black tea in the morning which woke every cells in our body and energetic. We took a stroll around the place along with some stretches to wake our muscles before we get ready to head to college. At 8.30am we reported at the college. The day's duty were assigned to group 2. So they were doing their duties right from the registration procedure and they served us the breakfast. After having the food we washed our plates and glasses, then we went to attend the respective class. The first class were taken by Dr. M. A. Siddique, Malayalam Department Lecturer at Kerala University and Writer. He took the class about 'Man's knowledge and dreams of humanity.' The class was soo good. Hola L'espoir

The very first community camp for the student teachers 2021-23 batch had made a kick start today. For the next 5 days the whole batch is gonna stay under the same roof, at Giri deepam convention centre.. The camp was inaugurated by 10am at MTTC..by our chief guest Y.Shibu, Assistant commissioner of Excise, Kozhikode..  Sir took the whole crowd by hand by talking about everything related to drugs..right from the percentage of ethyl alcohol in the locally available brands till their effects on us. The session was really informative because he displayed many newspaper cuttings that shows many gruesome incidents that happened in our Kerala due to the use of drugs.. it was really an eye opening class because he empowered us with the fact that even us can save one from the use of drugs with some effort..
