 Deviating from the daily normal school days, today the whole school were lit up with the mood of celebration for the annual day of 2023. After a big break left by the COVID days in the last years, the school once again regained their enigmatic atmosphere and the children were looking forward for it. We were asked to reach the school a little before the usual working hours and so we assembled at the school in time. We started out assigned duties in time. The program begun at 9.30am with a prayer and some songs by the students. The chief guest was our honorable MLA Adv V. K. Prasanth and Grand Master Dr. G. S. Pradeep. They reached the venue at 10.15am and inaugurated the ceremony and gave away the trophies for many of the winners from various competitions held in the year as well as honoring two teachers who were retiring soon.  The programs were resumed after that.  I had classes during the 1st period at 9A & 5th period at 9B. I revised the last class portions and then moved on to the new portion. It was an activity oriented class. Since tomorrow is the school's annual day celebration children were busy preparing for the celebration. During the break times they had arranged the stage beautifully and practiced their programs. At noon we went to serve meals and then we had our lunch. Suja teacher called us for a meeting to assign us the duties for tomorrow.  A normal day as ever and today too I had no classes neither any free hours to take the class. So me and the others who doesn't had classes stayed and prepared our lessons as well as went to UP classes for substitutions and helping the students practice their programs. 

 I had to classes today. So I took my time to correct the rest of the exam papers and during the break time I distributed the answer sheets to the students. The rest of the time I spend my time to prepare lesson plans and all. Since the school annual day is approaching every classes were busy practicing for the program. At afternoon we went to serve the meals for the students and at 3.30pm we marked our attendace and left the campus.

 Today, there was a film fest planned by the school for the UP and high school. Morning for the UP section and afternoon session was for the high school. Luckily I had both my classes during the 1st and 3rd period at 9A & 9B. I planned to conduct a test paper for both the classes to review the chapter I taught- a test of 15 marks. The test was conducted according to what I planned and I reviewed the papers during the free times. I am glad to see that most of them had scored marks above 90%.  During the afternoon lunch break we went to serve the meals for the students and the rest of the lunch break time we had our lunch in the nearby hotel. At 1.30pm we came back and those who had classes during the afternoon time went for it and some of us went to see the film fest. There were a documentary about the ill-effects of using drugs and then the film 'My Dear Bootham.'  At 3.30pm we marked the attendance and then left the campus.     

 I had to classes to take today. So I took my time to prepare for the lessons to take. At noon we went to serve meals and then we had our lunch. It was informed that there is a class about health & hygiene during menstruation by WDW (Women's Doctors' Wing) with IMA Trivandrum for the high school students. We were assigned with the duty to maintain discipline during the class. The class mainly focused on menstruation and to detect any irregularities and remedies if present. Plus the ways to maintain an healthy menstruation cycle were also the major focus area of the class. They also took their time to talk about menstruation cups and its benefits over sanitary napkins. And they also brought a menstruation cup for the students to get an understanding of it. The class was informative and interactive. There were remedial classes assigned at the evening just like yesterday, but today it was the turn for biology for the 9th standard students. So me and Ancy turned in for it from

 Since the final exams and the school annual day is approaching there were no morning assembly today. As usual the class started at 9.30am and I had class during the first hour at 9A. I made them revise the previous portions & then I resumed the chapter. At 10.10am the class ended and I headed back to complete my lesson plan and to correct some of my students' notebooks. Today there was the physical education test for some of us including me. Jini, Reshma, Amalu, Raghi and Dhanya were the others who were assigned for the class. George teacher came to the school in time and we set the 6th standard students ready for it. It went well.   At noon we went to serve the meals and then we had our lunch. Afternoon's first hour is what I had next at 9B. While I was doing a class group, Maya teacher came in and took her time to observe my class and to write my 'observation record.'  The school begun at  9.30am and I didn't had any classes today. During the afternoon times some of us including me had done the PE with the 6th standard students. We taught them the commands and movements that should be done. They cooperated very well with us which made the class interesting and enjoyable. At 3.30pm we marked the attendance and left the school.

 A normal day as usual. I hadn't had any classes as well as free hours to take classes. So I stayed to write lesson plans and to decide on the activities. Maya teacher came to visit us today and observed some classes and wrote down the remarks on the observation book. Then at noon we went to serve meals and then had our lunch. At 3.30pm we marked our attendance and left the school.

 Today I had class during 3rd hour and until then I prepared for the class and wrote lesson templates. At the third period I went for the class at 9B and resumed the chapter. I gave the notes for the rest of the portions and left when the bell rang. Then at noon we went to serve meals and then had our lunch. During the afternoon our Principal Benedict teacher came to visit us. Then observed some of our classes and signed our records before leaving. Then at 3.30pm we marked our attendance and called it a day   

 Today I had no classes to take. But we were informed that our teacher may visit our classes today so we need to find some time to take class by adjusting with others. So we adjusted some classes with the others. In accordance with that I got a class during the first hour after swapping with the Malayalam class of Jini with mine. Juts like me the other two of my classmates also got other classes and we took the classes while our teacher arrived. I was able to take my classes like I normally do and got my observation book written by teacher. After seeing our teacher off we had free time which we took time  to prepare lesson plans and discuss.  Also today there was a free medical camp held at the school and we got chance to attend that. We went to do some check-ups and got back. And at noon as usual we went to serve meals and after that we had our lunch. During the afternoon hours some of us went for substitutions at 6th standard and at 3.30pm we marked our attendance we left the school.

 Monday was one of the assembly day at GHSS Girls Peroorkada. It begun at 9.15 and today's assembly was conducted by the +1 students. The assemble also included prize distribution for the State level competitions held recently along with Principal's message. After the assembly we went to our respective classes and as for me I had class at 9A. I took the class with my resumed portion there. After the class ended I took my time to prepare my lesson plans and activities. At noon we went to serve meals. After that I had my next class at 9B. After having my lunch I went there and resumed the portions and gave them notes. Soon as the class ended I went back and wrote some lesson plans. At 3.30 we signed our attendance and called it a day..   

 Today was a normal day as everyday. Class started at 9.30am and the ones having there respective classes went for it. I got a free hour from 9th A and I went to continue the chapter. The children had their complete attention in the class and that made me happy. During the afternoon we went to serve the meal and then we had our lunch. There was a PTA meeting held at school from standard 6 to 9 from the afternoon. So we left the school before 3pm after marking the attendance

 Today was the assemble day for the school and it was conducted by the youngest batch of the school- the 5th standard students. The assembly included prayer, pledge, news and thought for the day. And also there was a spectacle donating program by Chaithanya Eye care hospital authorities in accordance with the Government plan 'Amrutham.' It is aiming for undertaking free eye test for the school students as well as providing the spectacles for the needy. Almost 13 high schoolers of GHSS Peroorkada were in need of one and was distributes at the venue of assembly by Chaithanya hospital faculties and the Principal of the School Mrs. Pushpa, which marked the end of the assembly.  After the assembly the classes begun and the students having the respective classes went for it. The teachers from our college went for the observation and went with them. The rest of us stayed and wrote lesson plans and other works.  I have two classes during wednesdays and mondays. So today's first class was during the first period at 9th A. I taught them the portions in accordance with my lesson plan and made them participate in the activities I prepared. They were so active to do that and came forward for it. They had done a perfect job participating and completing the activity. Then I had the next class during the third period at 9th B. I took the same portion I took at 9th A. They had done a good job too. At noon we went to help serve meals to children and then we collected the notebooks from our classes and corrected them and distribute by evening. At 3.30 we left the school after marking the evening attendance. 

 A usual normal day.. Class started at 9.30am. I didn't got any hours today. So I stayed with others who didn't had any hours and prepared the lesson plans, corrected some notebooks etc. During afternoon we went to help serve meals and then we had our lunch. After some time preparing lesson plans and all, time flew and struck 3.30pm and then we left after marking the evening attendance. 

 Today was the day for assembly. So the students assembled themselves for it. Today the assembly was conducted by the youngest batch of the class which were the 6th grade students. It was perfetc in all aspects. It started with prayer followed by pledge, news reading, thought for the day and importance of the day which was the Pravasai-Bharatiy Divas (Non-Resident Indian Day). Towards the end of the assemblly the Principal delivered the message and congratulated the students who were in charge of the assembly and there was  the certificate distribution for the participants and winners for the all Kerala school art festival. It felt good to know that this school is a treasure house of talented young minds and we were glad to know that we are teaching such students even if its for a short while.  I had class during the first hour.  Even though today is saturday, it was working day for the school. The day followed the time table of Monday where my scheduled class hours included. So today marked the very first day of teaching experience. I had my first class during the first hour in 9A. I was anxious at first until I faced the children. As usual the first period started at 9.30am. Since it was Saturday a lot of students were absent. I introduced myself in front of the few students sitting in front of me followed by their self introduction. For a change as well as to create a good rapport with the students I suggested them to introduce the person sitting next to them instead of 'self introduction.' At first they were shy but soon they got into the pace. All the 23 students present at the day had done a good job doing their part of introduction. Since there were only few students present I just collected some information about the class and introduced the topic that I will be dealing with. The children were

 Heading to the second day. We reached the school on time and marked our attendance. Everyone went to their respective classes during the study hours and the rest of us stayed to write our lesson plans and preparing the teaching aids. We discussed about our experiences in the classes and also brainstormed about the ideas which we can use in our classes to make the learning environment better. As usual we went to help serve the mid day meal to the students and then went to the classes. At 3.30 we marked the attendance for the second half of the day and called it a day..

 Our first ever teaching internship had begun today. What we learned for over this one year is going get into its practical form and we are all excited as well as a little tensed. The school I was scheduled into was GHSS for girls Peroorkada. A total of 13 students from all the 6 optionals were selected to do the teaching practice here. We arrived at the school at 9am. There was an open assembly at the school today at 9.15am. We attended the assembly as well. Today's assembly were hosted by the students from 6B. It included prayer, news, thought for the day, new year song and Principal's message. The whole assemble was systematic and time bound.  After that some of us went to their respective classes in their respective hours after marking our attendance. I didn't had my class hour today.
