 Finally the last day of our teacher training session (phase 1). A busy day indeed, even though none of us had classes. All of us were busy visiting our students, receiving gifts from them, giving autographs and all. It was a happy day because we were able to complete our training successfully, but it was a bit sad because we have to part from our very first students whom we learned a lot from and shared a sweet bond with. We distributed sweets to the Principal, Head Mistress, Staff room and other faculty members as well as to our students. Many of the students especially the UP session students (where we usually go during the substitution hours) were extremely emotional on our departure and we had quite a hard time consoling them. We were so happy that we were able to spend some of our time with these precious ones for almost 40 days.                                                                                                                                                        

 Today I had no allotted hours so I stayed back to complete my record and getting signature from the teacher as well as going to substitution hours. Then during the afternoon I conducted the diagnostic test on 10 students. At 3.30pm we marked our attendance and left the school 

 Today I had classes during the first hour at 9A where I conducted a test on the chapters I covered. We went to serve the mid-day meal during the afternoon and then I had the next hour during the 5th hour at 9B where I revised the portions again and distributed the exam papers of the test I conducted last week. Then I called out the students who will be assigned to do the diagnostic test and arranged a time for them to do so. At 3.30pm we marked our attendance and left the school

 Since it's a Tuesday, I have no allotted hours. Also today the attendance of the whole school was very low because the SPC were having a one day trip to Bonacaud. There is a huge number of students in SPC from the high school session. Thus most of the classes were put together in a single class and we were asked to keep an eye on them. Most of us went for it. During afternoon we went to serve mid-day meal and then at 3.30pm we marked our attendance and left the school.  

                                                                                                                                                                                  Today I took my class during the first period at 9A and then got a free period at 8C and resumed their portions.I also had a period during the afternoon but was interrupted because of a 'Magic Show' that's being held at the school from afternoon till evening. The Magic show was on the basis of a charity program held with the support of Kowdiar Palace and the faculty members of some organizations. The Magic show was different from the normal shows because this one put forward messages of 'ill effects of drug use' to children. It was an interesting one.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

17th of February's Friday was busy as a bee. Today I had no classes neither free periods to teach. So I stayed to write my lesson plans.At morning Maya teacher paid us a visit and teacher asked us about our classes and the progress of our training in here.  And today was also the day where the B.Ed trainees of St. Thomas College was completing their training at GGHSS. So many of the students came to them to give them fairwell gifts and messages. It was heart warming to watch. And as for us we planned to give them something too, like a cold drink and to share a special meal which was biriyani ordered to had it together.  We shared some beautiful memories together, talking, eating food together and taking photos together. We will surely miss them. They provided us with some good companionship. Today was also the day were the SPC passing out parade, which was scheduled  towards afternoon.  Just a normal day except I have no my usual allotted classes today. Instead I got some biology period and free times from the 8th standard and there I resumed the portions. At noon we went to serve meals and by 3.30pm we marked our attendance and left the school

 I had my class during the 1st hour at 9A. I took my portion and took some to interact with the students about their exam patterns and took some notes from it since we are yet to conduct our achievement test for them. After the interval time the faculty members of RK Mall group along with some celebrities came  to the school, for them to conduct singing competition as a part of their inauguration in TVM. It was a fun event where many of the students participated and displayed their precious talent in front of the whole crowd. The people from the team lit up the atmosphere with some songs and with their interactions.. The program extended till noon. After that I had my next class at 9B as well as in 8B. At 3.30 we clocked out after marking our attendance   

On 13th Feb (Monday),  I had class during the 1st period at 9A. I resumed the portion and before that I checked their knowledge by asking question and with some activities. After that class I had the next class during the afternoon time at 9B. I had done the same procedure with 9B and resumed the portion. At 3.30pm we marked our attendance and left the school. On 14th Feb (Tuesday) I have no classes as per the time table neither any free periods from the 9th standard. But I got classes from the 8th standard and I resumed my portion there.

 As these are the two days were I rarely get classes, I decided to write about the two days in a blog. During thursday I didn't get any classes for the 9th standard but I got some free periods from the 8th standard and I took my time to take their portions. On the next day, that is on friday I got free periods of the 8th standard and the work experience hour from the 9th standard (which is a free period for the time being) for me to take my portions.  

 I had classes during the 1st and 3rd hour at 9A & 9B. At 9.30am I went to class 9A and resumed my portion. During the third hour I went to 9B and took my portion. At noon we went to serve meals and then after having our lunch some of the us stayed and wrote our lesson plans while others went for the substitution classes. At 3.30pm we marked our attendance and called it a day. 

According to the time table I had no classes today. But I had got the PE period at 9A, which was free and I took the rest of the portions. The portions were almost completed at this point. At noon as usual we went to serve the meals and then had our lunch. At 3.30pm we marked our attendance and left the school.

The school begun at 9.30am and I had my 1st period at 9A where I resumed my portion. I corrected their notebooks after the class ended. The next class was at 1.30pm- the 5th period at 9B. Until then I wrote my lesson plans and activities. At noon we went to serve meals and then had our lunch. After lunch I went to my class and resumed the portion there. Since the PE period is free at 9B during the 6th period I took my class at that time too. The respective subject teacher of the school Suja teacher observed my class and gave her valuable opinions and advises. It was a good experience. At 3.30pm we marked our attendance and left the school..

At noon, we went to serve meals and after having our lunch the ones' who had classes went for it. At 3.30pm we left the school after marking our attendance.

 The school begun at 9.30am just like everyday. I had no classes today, so I planned to stay behind to plan my classes and correcting some notebooks of my students. At noon, we went to serve meals and then had our fill. During the afternoon times I got a free period at 8th B where i resumed my portion with the help of my innovative aid that defines various insitu conservations. It was entertaining for students. I was glad it worked. Then, at 3.30pm we marked our attendance and left the school.

 The start of new month and the school reverted back to the typical school aura, and as usual the class begun at 9.30am. I had 1st hour at 9A. Since it was the day right after the annual day celebrations, some of the students were absent for the class. Even so I took the class with the rest of them. After completing today's portion I asked the children to write the feedback for my class until now. I was happy to know that the class was better for them than I imagined. Then I had my second class during the 3rd hour at 9B. I resumed the portion and given them activities. At noon, we went to serve the meals and then had our lunch. During the afternoon I had no classes so I stayed to write down my lesson plans. At 3.30pm we left the school after marking our attendance.
