23rd Dec 2021: It's Christmas @MTTC!!

Image
It was the first Christmas for us new MTTCians and it was worth remembering for! The students were all busy as the bees, preparing the things for the day, completing several tasks for the competition arranged by some associations, practicing for the carol songs and dance, buying Christmas hats and taking tons of photos and all. After a little wait the program started at 11 and we all assembled at the auditorium and when the guests arrived we welcomed them with a warm round of applause. The event started with a prayer and then the venue was able to receive a good Christmas message from our chief guest Rev. Fr. Jolly Karimpal. Then Father lead the ceremony to cut the Christmas cake with our Principal Benedict sir and Fr. Thomas Kayyalakkal.  After that we sang our Christmas carol song together. We had soo much fun singing and doing some movements together. Different associations shared a sense of precious unity while doing something enjoyable together. We are glad that everyone enjoyed

Endmost Assembly of 2021

Image
Yet another Wednesday, and there was the assembly and today's turn was for the Maths Association. And yes..this Wednesday- Assembly day was the last one for 2021 at MTTC. The way they conducted their assembly was soo good. Each and every one of them had done their respective tasks soo perfectly. Be it the voice modulation or presentation or even their body language..they were all flawless! Isn't it interesting that Maths association had their assembly right exactly on National Mathematics Day Dec 22nd! the day when the greatest Mathematician of ages, Srinivasa Ramanujan was born. As a part of the day's importance they had even conducted a small quiz during the assembly. That was something new in an assembly I've known so far. Hats off to their effort❤.  In the absence of our beloved Principal to the venue Joju sir enlightened the day with the thought of the day. So, all together the assembly was a kick-start for the day..  After the morning assembly we had our optional

'Talk-active' Tuesday

Image
We had our second group discussion today! And again it was initiated by Joju sir; the topic we discussed about was 'Cyber crimes and ways to prevent them.' The topic have soo much importance in today's world which is more or less rotating around the internet. The cyber crimes are rising with the development of usage of internet; in a way that one can't even trust a genuine source or to differentiate between a fraud source with a trusted one. We had a really good time exploring about one of the most poisonous weapon in the world. We discussed thoroughly about the topic, stacked up all the possible information we can produce and noted it down to make it a small report for the presentation in the next class.  Then Maya ma'am took the class and taught about the qualities and competencies of a teacher. The main points included:                           * Physical and mental health                           * IQ, EQ and SQ                           * Integrity and punc

Again a normal beginning for the day. During morning session our ma'am was not able to make it in for the class, but she assigned us a small work- to note down about what Science is, it's importance and all. We went to the library for the reference and noted things down in our books and discussed about it. After that times it was Joju sir's turn for the class. Sir taught us about the mark distribution on various parts for our paper and also assigned some topics for us for the submission of online assignment. He also taught us about the importance of Technology to students, to teachers and to parents. It's a wonder what technology can bring about in every turns and we understood the idea of it's importance. The classes ended before the normal time schedule, so we went to the library for further references.

17th of Dec: Two Birthdays

Image
A special day for us, the 'Natural Science'ians - first birthdays from our team and it's none other than our class leader Lekshmi's❤❤❤ plus the missed birthday of Megha, assistant class leader..a brand new start for celebrating birthdays huh! ;) We bought a cake for both of them and threw a little surprise celebration for them with our Shiny ma'am.   After that at 10 am we had our turn for the Robotics class. We got to know the importance of coding the scope of dealing with it in the near future. Under their proper guidance we successfully learned to code our commands into a robot and ways to control it. It's a fact that all those fantasy stories like Transformers, Iron Man etc can be possibly made into a reality in today's developing world.  Even though it has millions of good sides in today's world one of the predictions made by Stephen Hawking, that is 'development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of human race' resonated w

9/12/2021 : A Differently Blissful Day

Image
9th day of December:  The day started as normal as everyday, but what made the day a bit different is the time from 10.30am-12.45pm; the time where we spent our presence with some pure human beings at Santhi Mandiram, Vattappara. It is a precious home for the lives who were somehow broken in their tough journey still standing upright with a strong will to live. If 'superhuman' is a term used to call human beings with special power I would definitely address those people as a 'team of Superhumans', because they hold talents and powers to control their emotions, even though those are some of the most difficult task to do from their side. To be honest I always feel panic to approach people with a 'different' mental abilities such as them; even though I have this deep feeling to comfort them I couldn't bring myself to confront them. Even the moment I stepped in there I was still shivering inside, wondering with some stupid 'what if..' questions. But it

December 1. World Aid's Day and another Wednesday; the first ever assembly conducted by our B.Ed batch and today, it was Malayalam association's turn to host the assembly. They have done a great job conducting the assembly. They had a uniformity in their attire today which itself gave us a good vibe and everyone had done their respective tasks of pleasantly. They also did a short awareness speech on the importance of World Aid's day and as a part of the awareness they distributed the red ribbon which is the universal symbol of awareness and support for the people who is living with HIV and we wore them as a great way of awareness. Thanks to them and the the team behind such a fabulous kick-start morning and we got a clear idea of how to conduct the assembly in the near future.👏💓 The first hour was our optional hour and our class tutor Shiny ma'am has came to our class and had a good talk with us plus the self introduction sessions of the newly joined amigos! It was
