23rd Dec 2021: It's Christmas @MTTC!!
It was the first Christmas for us new MTTCians and it was worth remembering for! The students were all busy as the bees, preparing the things for the day, completing several tasks for the competition arranged by some associations, practicing for the carol songs and dance, buying Christmas hats and taking tons of photos and all. After a little wait the program started at 11 and we all assembled at the auditorium and when the guests arrived we welcomed them with a warm round of applause. The event started with a prayer and then the venue was able to receive a good Christmas message from our chief guest Rev. Fr. Jolly Karimpal. Then Father lead the ceremony to cut the Christmas cake with our Principal Benedict sir and Fr. Thomas Kayyalakkal.
After that we sang our Christmas carol song together. We had soo much fun singing and doing some movements together. Different associations shared a sense of precious unity while doing something enjoyable together. We are glad that everyone enjoyed the performance as much as we did.
The afternoon sessions was filled with a grant feast of festive vibes. After different associations performed their fill prize distribution for the winning associations for various christmas games conducted by different associations were given away. After that we danced the evening away.. Little did I ever knew that all the teachers including our beloved Principal were soo good with dance and songs..!ππ They showed us how to enjoy the moment so perfectly. I'm sure most of the 1st year B.Ed students must have had their mouth opened wide when they witnessed all the teachers shook a leg with us just like one of us in between. They were all beyond awesome! In my case, this is a first for me- the sight of teachers and students lighting up the whole auditorium with dance and joy together.. We are soo lucky to have such mentors.. Its amazing how much a festival can do! And now we are looking forward to sharpen our dance moves so as to match with our teachers.. Finally a Christmas worth to remember for a lifetime. So here's to the evening that turned into morning and cheers to the friends that turned into family.. β€β€
