31/01/2023- Annual Day 2k23 GGHSS Peroorkada

 Deviating from the daily normal school days, today the whole school were lit up with the mood of celebration for the annual day of 2023. After a big break left by the COVID days in the last years, the school once again regained their enigmatic atmosphere and the children were looking forward for it. We were asked to reach the school a little before the usual working hours and so we assembled at the school in time. We started out assigned duties in time. The program begun at 9.30am with a prayer and some songs by the students. The chief guest was our honorable MLA Adv V. K. Prasanth and Grand Master Dr. G. S. Pradeep. They reached the venue at 10.15am and inaugurated the ceremony and gave away the trophies for many of the winners from various competitions held in the year as well as honoring two teachers who were retiring soon.  The programs were resumed after that. It consisted of songs, dances, playing instrument etc. We were amazed witnessing the different talents of the children right from the UP sessions till higher secondary, everyone were highly talented and were brimming with confidence on stage. It was appreciable that the school is providing such an open platform for all the students for such a perfect venue. 

The mid-day meal were specially sweetened with the addition of payasam and pappadam with the menu. We also had our fill after serving it to the children. Afternoon sessions were also filled with various performances with a drama which were recognized in the State level competition. Towards the end of the session random songs were played which we all shook our legs to with our students and teachers of the school. It was fun to enjoy our sweet time dancing and singing with them. An unforgettable day and we made good memories together.. ❤
