Hola L'espoir

The very first community camp for the student teachers 2021-23 batch had made a kick start today. For the next 5 days the whole batch is gonna stay under the same roof, at Giri deepam convention centre..
The camp was inaugurated by 10am at MTTC..by our chief guest Y.Shibu, Assistant commissioner of Excise, Kozhikode.. 

Sir took the whole crowd by hand by talking about everything related to drugs..right from the percentage of ethyl alcohol in the locally available brands till their effects on us. The session was really informative because he displayed many newspaper cuttings that shows many gruesome incidents that happened in our Kerala due to the use of drugs.. it was really an eye opening class because he empowered us with the fact that even us can save one from the use of drugs with some effort..
After the lunch we had another session from the fire force department..taken by officer Jith.. The class was basically focused on "fire and first aid." Sir taught us various first aid tips for an emergency situation which we can act.. it wa informative as well as interactive. Unfortunately our time was so little that sir was forced to put a stop to the session..becayhe had another session to attend to. We were soo grateful for the session..
After that we had a group game "bombing the city." It was fun playing with our friends and all..we had a great time together.
It was followed by a music jam session by our music band.. not only the band members but most of the students in our batch took their time to come forward to sing their favourite songs..it put the whole batch into the mood of celebration.. 
Then after we had our dinner we walked to giri deepam convention centre

Just a small blog about a sight that caught my attention at my home 😉  Not a butterfly..it's a beautiful Moth known as Curoba   This little Mom was enjoying her motherhood stage laying eggs (those tiny yellow spots are her eggs) on my Crossandra plant (Kanakambaram) and having the nectar offered by the flower in exchange for the pollination she's helping the plant with..and the plant will provide a space for her babies to grow until they spread their wings to fly higher.. Gotta observe them everyday from today onwards!   (nb: anyone having this plant at home can have a sight of Curoba since they are always seems to be associated with this plant..even though it's not a big of a deal it's still interesting😉) .   A little message from the Mother Nature! The way each and every different species co-exist with peace..and what we, the same species struggling and failing on "a peaceful existence"

Felicitations COSMOS!

        "Matha Pitha Guru Deivam"   That's what Cosmos taught us about today. Interestingly it can be said that, this phrase is from the 'Universe' today..but here Physical Science department represented it. Yes, it was their assembly today..which included the inauguration of their association's name 'Cosmos' means the Universe itself. Their efforts payed off. The assembly was 'perfectly perfected' with their pure effort. Their was no time lag, all of them had good voice modulation, well presented, apt flow with confidence. They gave away the prizes for the Christmas day competition held before and as part of the coming 'International Day of Women in Science day' (Feb 11) they have conducted a small puzzle quiz too. It's a new dawn.. It's a new day.. It's a new life😁💙

2022! Yes! our planet completed a trip around our star and started another round and it's 'new' year in here. We had our 10 days Christmas vacation of homeworks. Due to the predictable worst current scenario most of us in the batch had spend their vacation at home and visiting relatives (that includes me too :) ). Therefore we had only very few memories of vacation to share with each other. We had our optional at first hour. Our tutor Shiney ma'am and us shared some vacation memories and then got onto the portions. Today ma'am taught us the important values or functions of Science.       The mind is everything. What you think you become.. - Buddha   Then Joju sir took the next 2 hours. Sir started the class with prayer and new year's message.
