L'espoir Day 2

 After spending the night at Giri deepam most of us had woken up before 6.30am. We were provided with hot black tea in the morning which woke every cells in our body and energetic. We took a stroll around the place along with some stretches to wake our muscles before we get ready to head to college. At 8.30am we reported at the college. The day's duty were assigned to group 2. So they were doing their duties right from the registration procedure and they served us the breakfast. After having the food we washed our plates and glasses, then we went to attend the respective class. The first class were taken by Dr. M. A. Siddique, Malayalam Department Lecturer at Kerala University and Writer. He took the class about 'Man's knowledge and dreams of humanity.' The class was soo good. Sir suggested a lot of books and he provided a lot of information which was new to us. The class included interactive sessions, interesting infos, mindful talks, and eye-openers. He highlighted that knowledge is environmental and only by experiencing that we can get it out. He also talked about 'ecopedagogy.' The areas he covered during the talk included every subjects and that made the class more and more interesting.   


Then, at 1'o clock we had our lunch and got ready for the next session. The resource person was Roshni. G. S, Beat Forest Officer, Govt. Licensed Snake Rescuer RRT, Paruthipalli Range Forest Office TVM. Ma'am talked about 'Forest and Wildlife Protection.' She conveyed the importance of wildlife and the its need from her life experiences. She also shared her first hand experiences in the wild during her duty times. As a licensed Snake Rescuer she shared the importance of her job and conscientization about snakes and tips to not hurting them and what to do when we encounter a snake. She shared informations about the snakes in our country. Overall it was an informative session.



 After taking a group photo with ma'am the class were dispersed. We went to have the evening tea and snacks and then we had a film show, 'Sudani from Nigeria.' The movie was really good. It showed various faces of humanity and how beautiful it is to have it in our life. Time flew by. Around 7.15pm we had our dinner before we left the college. We walked our way to Giri Deepam, there we freshened ourselves up and then we took our time to practice for the cultural event tomorrow and gossipying 😂. Then we slept in our respective rooms.
