Second day: Orientation class 1
After the first day of a new venture, we looked forward to the second day. Teachers came and introduced to us during their respective hours. Benedict sir came in during the first hour and motivated us by making us understand the importance of the profession and made us to do an thoughtful activity; to write a letter to any of our beloved teacher in this journey so far who has left a deep mark in us. It was really heart-warming that we were able to write the words coming from our heart with utmost honesty and gratefulness for them, for turning us into something valuable. It was an activity for us to understand projection technique. Also, sir has taught us a meaningful definition about education quoted by our Father of our Nation Mahatma Gandhi:
Education is meant to draw out the best in the child or a person from his/her mind, body and soul
The next hour was taken by Gibi ma'am. She has made us to do an interesting activity to draw a person in our notebook, with our book placed on top of our head. It was hilarious when we take a look at our own drawings, since all the pictures everyone drew are not at all human-like (made us feel like we are all some artists from another dimensions ๐
). I'm sure next time when we take our pen or pencil to draw even a line we will be reminded of this depiction we have done in the class. Th kind I drew was posted below.. (NB: those who dare can take a look, if not just ignore it๐)
Then came Maya ma'am. She has made an interactive section with us and asked us to talk about any inspiring things as well as painful experiences happened to us from our teachers. Many of the students made their remarks and they are all worthy to hear.
