Week 2 @ SV

 The week was busier than the 1st week. We were able to get into the track of  an intern. We had our classes in accordance with the time table and took them accordingly.  This week had 2 holidays on 28th and 29th (Bakrid), where I lost my only two classes of the week. So I prepared my lesson plans and planned my project. Other than that I had substitutions to attend to.

26th of June is The International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking (or World Drug Day),  and the students conducted a flashmob announcing the ill effects of drug abuse. 


We, the interns conducted a conscientization program for the students about the importance of the day and about the ill effects of drug. We also conducted a poster making competition & slogan writing competition on the LP & UP sessions we got substituted to and conscientized about the day.

Just a small blog about a sight that caught my attention at my home 😉  Not a butterfly..it's a beautiful Moth known as Curoba   This little Mom was enjoying her motherhood stage laying eggs (those tiny yellow spots are her eggs) on my Crossandra plant (Kanakambaram) and having the nectar offered by the flower in exchange for the pollination she's helping the plant with..and the plant will provide a space for her babies to grow until they spread their wings to fly higher.. Gotta observe them everyday from today onwards!   (nb: anyone having this plant at home can have a sight of Curoba since they are always seems to be associated with this plant..even though it's not a big of a deal it's still interesting😉) .   A little message from the Mother Nature! The way each and every different species co-exist with peace..and what we, the same species struggling and failing on "a peaceful existence"

Felicitations COSMOS!

        "Matha Pitha Guru Deivam"   That's what Cosmos taught us about today. Interestingly it can be said that, this phrase is from the 'Universe' today..but here Physical Science department represented it. Yes, it was their assembly today..which included the inauguration of their association's name 'Cosmos' means the Universe itself. Their efforts payed off. The assembly was 'perfectly perfected' with their pure effort. Their was no time lag, all of them had good voice modulation, well presented, apt flow with confidence. They gave away the prizes for the Christmas day competition held before and as part of the coming 'International Day of Women in Science day' (Feb 11) they have conducted a small puzzle quiz too. 19/02/2022- SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAM DAY 3- Exploring the school

  Third day of the school induction program @ SCV, we planned to take a look at the whole school. We explored the rest of the classes which isn't open now (LP, UP) & the surroundings, then the labs. All those areas were as perfect as spotless. There ain't a single flaw we can find..everything was like perfectly aligned in every way. The surroundings were all clean and clear..thanks to the cleaning staff there. They are working really hard there. We also found some time to spend with those aunties for some small talks. They were all 13 staffs working there for cleaning and all. They keep the school & its premises spotless. We visited the LP & UP sections. Even though it's not open for the children for the time being, those aunties clean all of them everyday. The classes for the little ones are all brightly coloured with many sorts of animated characters pictures drawn on the walls..which was soo beautiful that we wished only if we could become kids once again to
