 I prepared an Innovative Model on the topic " Animal Tissues " of chapter " Cell Clusters ", class 8 . The class was more interesting with the innovative model.

 The first week of the internship was a little bit busy. I had my first class at 8A and 9A in this week also the second class too. At 9A I resumed the portions coming after 'Photosynthesis' from chapter 'Protectors of Biosphere.' The topics I took in this week included 'After Photosynthesis' and  'Ocean at par with land, Plant- Earth's wealth.' The topics were the concluding parts of that chapter. So I focused on ways to conclude the chapter effectively. I used ICT integrated learning strategy and it was effective. The portion also included oceanic pollution and its ill effects on life. So I included some conscientization points and a video too. I wasn't able to implement much activities but ICT was effective on the students.  Then in the next classes I started the new chapter  ' Food Through Digestive Tract.' The second phase of our teaching practice begun today as 'Internship.' As for me, I got deputed to Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Nalanchira. There are 5 student teachers including me in there. I had my very firct class today at 9A. The consent teacher was Reena teacher, who was really helpful and approachable in supporting me on my first day at the school. She explained the overall atmosphere of the class and guided mt in a proper way, especially on how to use the SmarBoard in the class. Teacher came to the class with me and introduced me to the class and then I proceeded with the introduction followed by the teaching. After the class she gave me appropriate feedback on the fields that I should work out more. It was really helpful. Since it was our first day, we had no other extra works other than to take our classes. 

 Natural Science Association HORUS conducted a Blood Donation camp on June 5th. Doctors and faculty members from KIMS hospital played the major role in the event.  

 On the World No-Tobacco Day, us HORUS conducted an oath taking via online..to spread the awareness on the harmful effects of tobacco  

 A day to remember the importance of menstruation and the hygiene one should practice. "Making Menstruation, a normal fact of life by 2030" is the slogan for the Mentruation hygiene day 2023 As part of the day, us HORUS has conducted a competition

 Finally the last day of our teacher training session (phase 1). A busy day indeed, even though none of us had classes. All of us were busy visiting our students, receiving gifts from them, giving autographs and all. It was a happy day because we were able to complete our training successfully, but it was a bit sad because we have to part from our very first students whom we learned a lot from and shared a sweet bond with. We distributed sweets to the Principal, Head Mistress, Staff room and other faculty members as well as to our students. Many of the students especially the UP session students (where we usually go during the substitution hours) were extremely emotional on our departure and we had quite a hard time consoling them. We were so happy that we were able to spend some of our time with these precious ones for almost 40 days.                                         ...
